More than a decade built around weddings.
I've worked as a wedding photographer and filmmaker since 2015. Over that time, Christina and I have built experienced photography and videography teams and helped document hundreds of celebrations.
JakeGleim.com is the personal, local side of that experience. I take on a limited number of weddings close to home, work directly with each couple, and personally lead the coverage from planning through the wedding day.
I know how quickly the important seasons of life pass.
My wife Christina and I live with our children on a little ranch near Valley Mills. The moments I value most are usually the ordinary ones—the kids helping in the garden, sitting around a campfire, skipping rocks, or slowing down together at the end of the day.
Those moments have shaped the way I photograph weddings. The grand portraits matter, but so do the expressions, voices, movement, and people you may not realize you will miss until years from now.
Calm, prepared, and never overly staged.
I will give you clear direction when it helps, keep the timeline moving when it needs support, and fade into the background when a real moment is more important than anything I could pose. My goal is for you to feel taken care of without feeling like your wedding became a photo shoot.
A personal note.
I’m a practical, down-to-earth person. I’m not interested in chasing trends or turning your wedding into a production. I’m there to keep things calm, have fun with you, and do really good work.
I’ve been married for almost 13 years, so I understand how important the wedding day is—but I also know it doesn’t need to be perfect to be meaningful. Today, our own wedding photos aren’t what fill the walls of our home. They’re covered with photographs of our kids and the life we’ve built together.
That doesn’t mean the wedding photos weren’t important. It means the wedding was the beginning, not the whole story. My job is to preserve that beginning well, while making sure you’re able to relax and actually enjoy it.

I primarily serve weddings within about an hour of my home near Valley Mills, including Waco, Clifton, Crawford, McGregor, China Spring, Woodway, Hewitt, Robinson, and the surrounding Central Texas communities.
