Do you offer wedding videography and photography together?
Yes. I offer wedding videography and photography together for couples who want both services with one consistent approach. You can choose dedicated wedding videography, photography on its own, or a combined photo and video collection depending on what matters most to you.
Will you personally film our wedding?
Yes. Every wedding booked through JakeGleim.com is personally led and filmed by me. From planning through the wedding day, you work directly with me—not a randomly assigned videographer. If your collection includes a second cinematographer, I remain your lead and primary point of contact.
How do you film a wedding by yourself?
For dedicated wedding videography, I use multiple cameras and professional audio equipment to capture the moments that matter from more than one perspective. During the ceremony and important reception events, additional cameras provide continuous coverage while I move freely to capture more cinematic shots.
For couples wanting even more comprehensive coverage, a second cinematographer can also be added.
What if we're awkward in front of the camera?
That's completely normal. My approach to wedding videography is relaxed and unobtrusive, so most of the day you're simply enjoying your wedding rather than performing for a camera. When a little direction helps, I'll give it—but otherwise, I focus on letting moments happen naturally and capturing the day as it actually felt.
Do you film weddings outside of Waco?
Yes. I'm based near Waco and primarily film weddings throughout Waco and the surrounding Central Texas area. I intentionally keep much of my wedding videography work close to home so I can personally capture the weddings booked through JakeGleim.com.
I occasionally accept weddings farther across Texas when the date and plans are a good fit.
What happens if you get sick or can't film our wedding?
It's extremely rare, but there's a solid backup plan in place. In addition to my personal videography work, I own and operate a larger wedding photo and video studio with a trusted team of experienced cinematographers.
If illness, injury, or a true emergency ever prevented me from being there, I have talented professionals I trust who can step in and make sure your wedding is covered.
